JeffJeff Andriesse has been the co-founder of Rotowhine since its inception. He decided at a young age that he would become obsessed with meaningless drivel and someday make a living from it. That about catches us up, except for the making a living part. Enter Rotowhine.com.

Whether it was his childhood pastimes of collecting every Ozzie Smith baseball card, or writing a newsletter about his neighborhood basketball league, or creating pretend college hoops worlds in notebooks filled with stats and articles, Andriesse has always sounded like someone you wouldn’t want to hang out with. It is no surprise, though, that as he grew up, went to college and pursued a career, he would want to spend his middle-aged years topping his childhood for sheer immaturity. Enter Rotowhine.com.

In the winter of 2004, Jeff was a full-fledged fantasy sports loser. With his friend Greg Fox at his side, he felt like not as much of a loser. One night that winter, Jeff got tired of bitching on the phone with Greg about fantasy football, basketball, baseball or all three, and decided to start a blog called Rotowhine. Due to overwhelming demand, the site has now been upgraded to a full-fledged 24-hour bitching cycle. Enter Rotowhine.com.

Andriesse has worked in sports forever, but never at a level this inane. He has done time as a public relations specialist in college athletics, and is currently a freelance graphic designer living in the Boston, Massachusetts, area. He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1996 with a degree in journalism but has gradually moved away from that career path, with its rigid insistence on research, accountability and investigation. Whining on a blog sounds much more up his alley. Again: Enter Rotowhine.com.

Andriesse has long since abandoned his baseball card collections and childhood musings, and now is regularly obsessed with more high-minded fare ranging from the HBO show The Wire to The Clash to subliminal marketing. Enter Rotowhine.com.
