Three RBI for Moises Alou yesterday, Joe Crede 2-for-4 with a homer and Oliver Perez dominating the Yankees.
In other words, welcome a typical Sunday for my bench. Yes, one day before I can insert any of the three into my lineup, they go nuts. Then, a la Mike Cameron two weeks ago, I’ll put them in and they will go 1-for-20. Even Oliver Perez will figure out a way to go 1-for-20, on my team. Speaking of Cameron, he inevitably picked it up this week because I dropped him on the heels of his .050 pile of dung.
What’s that I said about dropping someone? (Yes, I’m now talking to myself.) I dropped Garrett Anderson right before he turned into Lou Gehrig and I dismissed Matt Garza from my team a long time ago, just in time for him to be brilliant for four straight starts up until Saturday when he got crushed by St. Louis.
What’s next, Julio Lugo starts going nuts? He had an RBI and a steal yesterday. I’m just saying.
